What is a Women’s Health Exercise Physiologist and how can we help you?
At Her Health Performance & Rehab, we specialise in bridging the gap between rehabilitation and a safe, confident return to exercise. As Women’s Health Exercise Physiologists, we create tailored programs that are specific to your individual needs, goals, and stage of life.
Emerging research continues to highlight the powerful role of exercise in improving pelvic floor function, reducing pain, enhancing overall wellbeing, and supporting women through all stages—from preconception to pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and beyond.
We take the guesswork out of what’s safe and effective. Whether you're managing a specific condition or simply want to feel strong again, we guide you through personalised, evidence-based movement strategies that support healing and performance.
You might benefit from working with us if you:
Leak urine when you laugh, sneeze, cough or exercise—or feel like you’re always rushing to the toilet
Feel unsure about what exercise is safe after having a baby or surgery—or find movement triggers pain
Gave birth in the last few years and have pelvic floor concerns like heaviness, dragging, or weakness
Have a prolapse and want to exercise safely (yes—you can and should move!)
Are recovering from a hysterectomy, laparoscopy, or mastectomy and want rehab support
Are pregnant and want to maintain strength, mobility, and confidence in your body
Have osteoporosis or osteopenia and want to use exercise to support bone health
Have been diagnosed with conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, or fibromyalgia and want to move in ways that feel good and work with your body
Our mission is to empower women with the knowledge, support, and movement strategies they need to feel strong, capable, and in control of their health.
SERVICES
STRENGTH THROUGH PREGNANCY
Once you've received the all-clear from your healthcare provider, the next best step is to connect with an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. We’re here to support you with safe, effective, and personalised exercise guidance throughout this exciting time.
At Her Health Performance & Rehab, we work closely with you across your entire pregnancy journey—helping you stay active, strong, and comfortable while addressing any aches or pains that may arise along the way.
THE FIRST 6 WEEKS
The first six weeks after welcoming your little one into the world is a time of immense change. This phase can feel like a whirlwind—physically, emotionally, and mentally—with a lot of uncertainty around when and how to safely return to exercise.
This is a season to gently nourish and support your body. Through restorative, at-home exercises, you can begin to rebuild your strength, reconnect with your core, and prioritise your recovery—one mindful movement at a time
RETURN TO STRENGTH
Once you’ve been given the all-clear by your healthcare provider to resume exercise, we’ll begin with a thorough assessment to understand your unique needs and goals. From there, we create a personalised program that addresses your concerns and supports your return to full strength training.
Your journey will follow a three-stage approach, ensuring you build a strong foundation by mastering the fundamentals before progressing to more advanced movements—safely, confidently, and at your own pace.
Empowering women to move with strength and confidence through every stage of life—because exercise should evolve with you
Transitioning into menopause? Recently diagnosed with a prolapse? Or maybe you're dealing with persistent hip and lower back pain that hasn’t improved, even after adjusting your training routine?
It might be time to take a more holistic approach—one that considers the entire body. Understanding and addressing the underlying connections between your symptoms is key to creating lasting change and helping you move with strength and confidence again.
WOMEN’S HEALTH & WELLBEING
CHRONIC CONDITIONS
Living with chronic conditions like endometriosis, fibromyalgia, or PCOS and struggling with ongoing pain? Not sure how to bridge the gap between gentle, restorative movement and progressing to more advanced strength training—without triggering a flare-up?
This is where a tailored, individualised approach makes all the difference. Understanding how to adapt your exercise program during symptom flares is essential to staying consistent, building strength, and feeling empowered in your body.
ABOUT HAYLEY
Hello!! I’m Hayley, I am a mum of 2, wife and have a burning passion for all things Women’s health! I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and founder of HER Health performance & rehabilitation. I have 6 years experience as an Exercise Physiologist, and over 12 years as a personal trainer. My passion for women’s health all started after the diagnosis of my own health battles with Endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. My goal is to help educate other women about women’s health and the impacts that exercise has on many of the conditions related specifically to women’s health, and hope to keep them active and not let these issues become a burden on their lives.
