Alice Toohey

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Alice is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a passion for helping women build strength, confidence and trust in their bodies through every stage of life. She enjoys working with women across the lifespan, from young females and developing athletes through to healthy ageing.

Alice has a particular interest in women’s health, strength and performance, menopause, bone health and pelvic health considerations. She is passionate about helping women understand how their bodies change throughout life and how exercise can be used proactively to support muscle mass, bone density, metabolic health, pelvic health, independence and long-term quality of life.

Her passion for healthy ageing and menopause care has been a driving force behind two of HER Health’s newest and most popular programs, Strong Bones and Menopause Strong. Both programs have hit the ground running, bringing together evidence-based strength training, education and individualised exercise prescription to help women feel informed and empowered as they navigate these important stages of life.

Alongside her women’s health work, Alice has a strong interest in return to running, rehabilitation and performance. She loves helping women progress beyond simply being “pain-free” and towards feeling strong, capable and confident in the things they want to do, whether that’s returning to sport after injury, lifting heavier in the gym, getting back to running or simply keeping up with life.

For Alice, exercise is about so much more than physical health. One of the most rewarding parts of her role is watching a woman’s confidence grow as they become stronger and discovers just how capable their body really is.

Outside the clinic, Alice is always up for a chat. Whether it’s sport, training, life or swapping dinner ideas (she’s never one to turn down a good recipe!), she loves getting to know the people she works with and making their time at HER Health something they genuinely look forward to each week.

Hayley Kiermaier

Founder | Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Hayley is the Founder and Lead Accredited Exercise Physiologist at HER Health Performance & Rehabilitation, with more than 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry and over a decade of business ownership.

She founded HER Health with a vision of creating a clinic where women feel heard, understood and empowered to become stronger throughout every stage of life. Since opening in 2020, HER Health has grown into a specialised women's health practice dedicated to providing evidence-based exercise rehabilitation, education and strength training for women from adolescence through to pregnancy, menopause and beyond.

Hayley's passion for women's health is deeply personal. After experiencing her own health challenges, she recognised the need for a more holistic approach to exercise rehabilitation, one that acknowledges the complexity of the female body while helping women return to doing what they love with confidence. This experience continues to shape the philosophy of HER Health today: treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

Her clinical interests include pelvic health, endometriosis, menopause, osteoporosis and strength training. She has completed extensive postgraduate professional development in women's health and is passionate about translating the latest evidence into practical, individualised exercise programs that support long-term health and performance.

Whether working with an elite athlete returning to sport, a new mum rebuilding confidence after birth, or a woman navigating menopause or chronic pelvic pain, Hayley's goal is always the same, to help women move well, feel strong and build confidence in their bodies for life.

Outside the clinic, You can find Hayley with her little family travelling in their caravan, usually at the south coast.

Sarah Rebel

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Sarah is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a passion for helping women feel strong, capable and confident in their bodies through every stage of life.

She has a particular interest in supporting women through menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause and healthy ageing, understanding that each stage brings its own unique changes, challenges and opportunities when it comes to movement, strength and performance.

Sarah is passionate about pregnancy and postpartum exercise, helping women remain strong and active throughout pregnancy before progressively rebuilding strength, capacity and confidence following birth. Her approach recognises that every pregnancy, birth and recovery is different, and exercise should reflect the individual woman, her symptoms, her goals and where she wants to get back to.

With a strong interest in strength and performance, Sarah loves helping women discover what their bodies are capable of. Whether that means returning to exercise after having a baby, rebuilding after an injury, getting stronger through menopause or maintaining the physical capacity to keep doing the things they love as they age, her focus is always on creating exercise that is purposeful, achievable and meaningful.

Sarah believes healthy ageing begins long before later life. Building and maintaining muscle, bone strength, cardiovascular fitness, balance and physical capacity throughout the female lifespan can have an enormous impact on how women move, feel and function for years to come.

Her approach is warm, encouraging and individualised. She loves creating an environment where women feel comfortable and listened to, while also feeling appropriately challenged and supported to work towards their goals.

Outside of the clinic, Sarah has a love for adventure and the outdoors. You’ll often find her hiking, camping, spending time with family and friends, or planning her next adventure.
